This Safari Workshop is designed for gymnasts who are ready to learn, refine, or connect their back handspring in a focused, supportive training environment. Athletes will work through progressive drills that emphasize proper technique, power, body awareness, and confidence.

Our coaches will break the skill down step-by-step, meeting each gymnast where they are—whether they are just starting their back handspring journey or working toward consistency and connections. Training will include drills on floor, tumble trak, and mats, with individualized feedback throughout the morning.

The Bar Basics Bootcamp Safari Workshop is a focused training session designed to strengthen bar fundamentals and technique. This workshop emphasizes proper mechanics, body positions, and confidence on bars to help gymnasts build a strong foundation for future skill development.

Athletes will work extensively on pull overs, casts, and glide swings, breaking each skill down through drills and progressions. Coaches will focus on shaping, timing, and control to ensure gymnasts understand how and why each movement works—not just completing the skill.

Training will include bar stations, mat work, and bar-specific conditioning, allowing athletes to repeat skills with intention and receive individualized feedback throughout the morning.

The Tie Dye & Art Explosion Safari Workshop is a creative, hands-on experience where athletes can express themselves through color and art while enjoying a relaxed, fun-filled morning at the gym.

Participants will create their own tie-dye masterpiece and explore a variety of art projects using different materials, techniques, and textures. This workshop encourages creativity, individuality, and imagination—giving athletes a chance to unwind, connect with teammates, and enjoy a break from structured training.

No prior art experience is needed—just a willingness to get a little messy and have a lot of fun!

Shark Agility

The Acro & Flexibility Safari Workshop is designed to improve body awareness, control, and flexibility—all essential components for strong gymnastics and acro skills. This workshop focuses on developing proper technique in acro-based movements while safely increasing flexibility through guided progressions.

Athletes will work on foundational acro

skills such as handstands, bridges,

walkovers, and body shaping, with an emphasis on alignment, balance, and control. Flexibility training will include active and passive stretches for shoulders, back, hips, hamstrings, and splits, all coached with proper form and safety in mind.

This workshop helps gymnasts move with confidence and control while building the mobility and strength needed to support skill progression across all events.

The Canvas & Clay Safari Workshop invites athletes to slow down and explore their creativity through painting and sculpting. This hands-on workshop allows participants to express themselves while working with different art mediums in a fun, relaxed environment.

Athletes will create a canvas painting and work with clay to design and shape their own unique creations. Guided instruction will be provided, while still allowing plenty of room for imagination and individual expression.

This workshop is a great balance of creativity and calm, giving athletes a chance to enjoy a different kind of Safari experience and leave with meaningful projects to take home.
